@vcfyouth1 #announcements next week is White Elephant meet @ Justie and Garrett's, Ice Skating on the 29th, Winterjam and more!
1. A shout out to Maria Rorrer, Scott Conover, Sam Kirkpatrick, Naomi Cook, Noah Labelle, and Tim and Luke Olsen for serving at a Country Christmas! Also, a thank you to these 8th grade calvary students for serving at the VCF Appreciation Dinner!
2. Next week is the VCF Youth White Elephant Exchange at Garrett and Justie’s house, 641 E Columbus Ave, during normal youth group time, 7-8:30pm. Food, fun, fellowship, gifts, and Wally in a Christmas sweater. Please prepared come with a wrapped gift to share. Hot Chocolate and snacks will abound at this festive celebration!
3. Ice skating is a great way to shed the pounds off from Christmas meals, alleviate the stress and general craziness your parents are feeling by having you at home over break, and to humble yourselves and provide great entertainment to us as leaders as we watch you all fall and fail repeatedly!! Leaving the church at noon on Tuesday the 29th, and returning at 4:30pm. Youth will cover the skates, but bring some of that hard earned Christmas cash for McDonalds afterwards.
4. Winterjam is returning to Columbus with a packed lineup of artist such as Sidewalk Prophets, KB, Tedashi, Red, Lauren Daigle, Crowder, and For King & Country! Keep an eye open for more details about when we are leaving, cost, etc.
5. Dare2share is returning to Dayton the first weekend of March, 4th and the 5th. This is hands down the best time of being encouraged in you faith, challenged to trust God deeper, and take a step of faith in sharing Christ with others. Watch this video about this years theme.
