#announcements @vcfyouth1 Rock the Lake service opportunity next weekend, Movie Night, mystery fun night, last Go Forth, and more!
1. Rock the lake 2016 is coming!! It A free concert on Old Field Beach at Indian Lake! Featuring David Crowder, 7eventh time down, Moriah peters, and We are messengers. Happening August 6th, concert starts at 5pm. As a youth group, we will be serving to get the site ready on Friday, August 5th starting at 1pm, and then gathering Saturday at 4pm. Please sign up with Garrett next Wednesday or text him.
2. August 12, will be our last all-church family movie night of the summer, and it’s going to be a good one. Starting at 6:30pm, come enjoy some tailgating food, games, prizes, before relaxing in your lawnchair or blanket and enjoying our outdoor megascreen showing the feature film, “Woodlawn”. Bring your younger siblings, your parents, your friends, and chill, watch a movie, and enjoy the time together!
3. It is too early yet to release all the details, but you are not going to want to miss youth group on Wednesday, August 24th. Unite, a gathering of several youth groups from across Bellefontaine and Logan County, is hosting an awesome night just for students. Stay tuned for more exciting details!
4. The last and final installment of our summer ‘Go Forth’ Wednesdays is this month! Following the great commission Jesus gave, why not put into practice her locally all the things you learned at Dare2Share and serve those closest to you? August 31st, starting at 6pm, we will share a meal and then disperse, ready to share Jesus’ love to our community. If you have not already turned in a permission slip, bring that with you!
5. The average student loses about 2.6 months of math skills over the summer. But don’t worry, you don’t have to add, subtract, multiply, divide, exponents or derivatives in order to like, follow, post to, or share with a friend these announcements and more info off of our facebook page, Instagram and twitter at vcfyouth1, or our blogspot page.
