Family Movie Friday, No Book Study Sunday, Go Forth Wednesday, and more! @vcfyouth1 #announcements
1. This Friday will be an all-church family movie night. Starting at 7pm here in the fellowship hall, our multiplex of 3 screens and awesome sound system will be a cinema experience like none other. The feature film will be “Home”. Bring your younger siblings, your parents, your friends, and chill, watch a funny movie, and enjoy the time together!
2. NO BOOK STUDY THIS SUNDAY, ENJOY FATHER’S DAY. But It’s not too late to join Justie and Garrett for the summer book study. Want to learn about serving and leading? Do you want to go deeper in your faith? Do you brains work well enough in the summer to read and discuss? Wanna get free snacks? Sundays from 3-4:30 at their house. If you didn’t come last week, see Garrett after and he can get you reading material!
3. Next Wednesday, from 6-8:30, will be the first inaugural ‘Go Forth’ Wednesday on the 4th Wednesdays of summer! Following the great commission Jesus gave, why not put into practice her locally all the things you learned at Dare2Share and serve those closest to you? PLEASE bring your permission slip with you! Dinner will be provided and be ready to share Jesus’ love to our community.
4. High schoolers, those middle school kids are crazy, no? Middle schoolers, high school kids are boring, right? Well, there is a fix for this problem! In 2 Wednesdays, June 29th, we will have a Jr High and Sr High Nights for students to separate by grade and hang out, fellowship, play some games, etc. During the normal youth group times of 7-8:30, incoming 7th through outgoing 8th graders are one group and outgoing freshman through outgoing seniors will be another. Stay tuned for where you will be located.
5. Facebook and Instagram combine for 4.75 million likes a minute, and 350 million an hour, so why not give one to the Youth group? Muchless, do you even follow us? Check it out at the facebook page, Instagram and twitter at vcfyouth1, or our blogspot page. Details, post to, tag, comment, selfie, like it up, ask questions, share it with a friend, or anything like that. Get it, like that!!!
