#announcements @vcfyouth1 not too late for book studies, go forth wednesday, jr/sr high night, and more!
1. It’s not too late to join Justie and Garrett for the summer book study. Want to learn about serving and leading? Do you want to go deeper in your faith? Do you brains work well enough in the summer to read and discuss? Wanna get free snacks? It continues this Sunday from 3-4:30 at their house. If you didn’t come last week, see Garrett after and he can get you reading material!
2. Even though you missed the first one, high school ladies are welcome to still join Fran Smith’s study on Tuesday evenings during the summer. Incoming freshman through seniors, next Tuesday, June 9th at 7pm at Fran’s house and studying “Girls with Swords” by Lisa Bevere. Talk to Domini at the end if interested!
3. Why not put into practice her locally all the things you learned at Dare2Share and serve those closest to you? The 4th Wednesdays of each summer month will be ‘Go Forth’ Wednesdays, following the great commission Jesus gave. Starting June 22nd, from 6-8:30, come to share a meal and share Jesus’ love to our community. Permission paper is required, so get one from Garrett after youth!
4. As a high schooler, ever thought middle schoolers are crazy? As a middle school, ever thought high schoolers are boring? I have a solution. The last Wednesday in June, a 5th Wednesday, we will have a Jr High and Sr High Nights for students to separate by grade and hang out, fellowship, play some games, etc. During the normal youth group times of 7-8:30, incoming 7th through outgoing 8th graders will be together while outgoing freshman through outgoing seniors will be separate. Stay tuned for where you will be located.
5. Facebook and Instagram combine for 4.75 million likes a minute, and 350 million an hour, so why not give one to the Youth group? Muchless, do you even follow us? Check it out at the facebook page, Instagram and twitter at vcfyouth1, or our blogspot page. Details, post to, tag, comment, selfie, like it up, ask questions, share it with a friend, or anything like that. Get it, like that!!!
