#announcements @vcfyouth1 No youth next Wednesday, instead Family Night thursday 5:30-7pm, help with VBS, sunday hangout, and go forth!
1. Looking for some way to serve this summer? Do you enjoy being a great example for younger children? We still need a few good students to help lead and encourage our children! Sign up with Garrett to help with Vacation Bible School for next week! VBS is from 6-8:30 during the evening.
2. There will be no youth on Wednesday, June 21st due to bible school. Instead, grab your family and come Thursday evening to an end-of-VBS Family Fun Night from 5-7:30. A bounce house, food, games, prizes, fun! Also, if any of you want to share some responsibility in running some of the activities, let Garrett know!
3. Even though none of you showed up last Sunday, maybe the addition of swimming and sand will encourage you! The last Sunday of June, the 25th, immediately after church until 2pm, we will caravan to Wren’s pond for swimming, yard games, bonfire, food, hangout, and fun! What a perfect chance to encourage those students who attend our church but don’t come on Wednesday to come and enjoy!
4. Wednesday, June 28th is not only Garrett’s birthday, it is the first Go Forth Wednesday of the summer! During normal youth group time from 7-8:30, but what we will be doing to serve is still up in the air! You will need a completed permission slip in order to participate in this amazing opportunity to serve our community!
5. Summer is finally here, which brings with it many opportunities for fun and service and youth group. Stay up-to-date on the latest details by checking out our VCF Student Ministry’s facebook page, Instagram and twitter at vcfyouth1, or our blogspot page to stay up-to-date on what’s happening. Give it a like, check it out, post, and share!
