#announcements @vcfyouth1, no youth July 5th, after church hang july 9th, fair scavenger hunt july 12th, serve at union station, pool party, and much more!
1. There will be no youth on Wednesday, July 5th due to July 4th Holiday. Instead, enjoy the evening with family and friends, having cookouts, and watching fireworks!
2. Our 3rd installment of after-church summer fun fellowship is happening on July 9th immediately following church service until 2pm. Students, want a free meal and hangout with friends? Parents, want a few hours without your students? Details on where forthcoming!
3. Looking for some way to serve this summer? We need volunteers to serve at Union Station for their Community Summer Program! Monday through Friday, July 10th through the 14th, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Able to help some of the time or all the time, doesn’t matter. Enjoy helping with crafts, games, worship, food, or crowd control, we’ll take you! Contact Garrett or Domini if interested!
4. The 6th annual VCF Youth Logan County Fair Scavenger Hunt will be happening Wednesday, July 12th during normal youth times (7-8:30pm). $5 gets you into the fair, and we will meet at the Lake Avenue/Bowling Alley Gate to receive directions and disperse from there. Fun, fellowship, and prizes to the winners! Invite your friends to come on out and have a great time!
5. Friday, July 16th will be an all-church pool party night. Starting at 7and ending at 9pm, come dip your toes into the cool, refreshing water and escape the heat with your church family. It will be at the Bellefontaine Hoffman Municipal Pool. Feel free to invite friends and family!
6. Our 4th VCF after-church Sunday afternoon student hangout will be an escape room challenge facilitated by the amazing Domini Cook! July 23rd immediately following service until 2pm. Lunch will be provided, and we will meet after church down in the jr and sr high classrooms. Have your thinking caps on and senses sharpened as you try and solve the riddles, find the clues, and escape!
7. Wednesday, July 26th will be our second summer Go Forth Wednesday! We had so much fun last time and so little time, we will be meeting an hour early, from 6-8:30, as we serve and share the love of Jesus with our community. You will need a completed permission slip in order to participate in this amazing opportunity!
8. Sons, invite your fathers out on Friday, July 28th, 6pm for a Father/Son evening. Fishing, bonfire, camping, and fellowship! Happening at Aaron Wren’s Pond, 3290 St Rt 47. Everyone is invited and welcome to bring accommodations and stay overnight, but it is not necessary.
9. Summer is finally here, which brings with it many opportunities for fun and service and youth group. Stay up-to-date on the latest details by checking out our VCF Student Ministry’s facebook page, Instagram and twitter at vcfyouth1, or our blogspot page to stay up-to-date on what’s happening. Give it a like, check it out, post, and share!
